Release Notes:

Item Type: System Driver

The motherboard can be likened to the brain of a computer. It is the main circuit board in a computer, and contains the processor, memory, media cards, and connections to USB ports and peripherals such as the mouse and keyboard. More hardware such as additional memory or hard drives can be added into designated slots on the board.
Through the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System), the motherboard controls communication with sound and graphics cards, memory, hard drives and disk drives, wireless or Ethernet communications, keyboard, mouse, and monitor or display.
Keeping the system's drivers up to date will ensure that data transfer from peripherals, hard drives and USB drives, and cameras, phones, and e-readers continues to be fast and accurate.
