Intel(R) 4 Series Chipset Processor to I/O Controller - 2E00
The Intel(R) Chipset Device Software installs Windows INF files and drivers to windows PCs the target system. These files outline to the operating system how to configure the Intel(R) chipset components in order to ensure that the following features function properly: Core PCI and ISAPNP Services, PCIe Support, IDE/ATA33/ATA66/ATA100 Storage Support, SATA Storage Support, USB Support, Identification of Intel(R) Chipset Components in the Device Manager
This driver can be installed in three modes: Interactive, Silent and Unattended Preload. Interactive Mode requires user input during installation; Silent Mode and Unattended Preload do not. The driver pack also offers a set of command line flags, which provide additional installation choices. The command line flags are not case sensitive. Refer to Section 4 for detailed descriptions of these flags.

- A server chipset and BIOS that are Intel I/OAT capable
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or 2 installed
- The Scalable Networking Pack from Microsoft (this is installed as part of Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2008)
- An adapter or network connection that is Intel I/OAT-capable
- The RSS advanced setting must be enabled
- Under TCP/IP Offloading Options, both Offload Receive IP Checksum and Offload Receive TCP Checksum must be enabled.

Installation
After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (D20073-001-001.exe), files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\D20073-001-001 folder on the hard drive.
1. From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\Cabs\D20073-001-001\Setup.exe, and then press ENTER.
2. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow.
3. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
