This Zip* file contains all of the Intel® Ethernet network drivers and software for currently supported versions of Windows*, Linux* and FreeBSD* for most Intel Ethernet adapters as found on the CD that accompanies Intel® Ethernet Adapters.
This release includes software and drivers for Intel(R) PRO/100,Intel(R) Gigabit, and Intel(R) 10GbE network adapters and integrated network connections.
Intel(R) I/O Acceleration Technology
Intel I/O Acceleration Technology (Intel(R) I/OAT) is a new Intel platform network technology that accelerates, optimizes and seamlessly scales enterprise servers on Microsoft Windows Server* and Linux* operating systems. Acceleration moves networking data to applications faster. Optimization allows you to increase the load on your servers without increasing power consumption. Seamless multiple port scaling gives you increased networking throughput from teaming along with reliable server and application availability.
Intel I/OAT requires the following to operate on Microsoft Windows
Operating Systems:
- A server chipset and BIOS that are Intel I/OAT capable
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or 2 installed
- The Scalable Networking Pack from Microsoft (this is installed as part of Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2008)
- An adapter or network connection that is Intel I/OAT-capable
- The RSS advanced setting must be enabled
- Under TCP/IP Offloading Options, both Offload Receive IP Checksum and Offload Receive TCP Checksum must be enabled.

SoundMAX Audio Driver for Windows (WHQL).
SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio
Note 1: On Windows Vista the Microsoft audio function driver installs by default. Running the SoundMAX installation procedure below will replace the Mirosoft driver with the SoundMAX audio driver.
Note 2: On Windows XP/2000 (early versisn of 2003) you need to install a QFE to allow an HD Audio driver to installation. This QFE is made available by Microsoft, and it is required to update Operating System components before installing the audio driver. The QFE contains the required files and a readme which outlines installation procedure. This QFE and these files are distributed by Microsoft only, please contact them directly if you need to get them.
Note 3: Microsoft(R) DirectX 9.0 or later is required
