The Realtek Content Creation Bay is used in conjunction with the RTD1282 devices which are  HD MPEG 4, 1 and 2 decoder with MPEG 4 and 2 encoder, High Definition Digital Video Out and Ethernet.
These devices are a highly integrated SoC (system on a chip) used for Consumer Electronic devices that requires mass storage, wired or wireless networking, timeshifting and media recording, and HD media playback capabilities. Features of the RTD1282 device used in conjunction with the Realtek Content Creation Bay include ATSC/ DVB T timeshifting and recording, SECAM/ PAL/ NTSC/ AV-in timeshifting and recording, AV transmission and streaming through WiFi and Ethernet, and a video encoder for 3D along with a CVBS in. the device also features a TV encoder with SCART/ YPbPr/ S-video/ CVBS out, audio codec, SPDIF, I2S in and out, Dual TS in, High definition DV out (BT1120/ CCIR656) PHY and HDMI transmitter, PHY and USB 2 Host, PCMCIA, PHY and IEEE 1394a AVLink, PHY and Fast Ethernet MAC, and ATAPI.

Intel(R) I/O Acceleration Technology

Intel I/OAT requires the following to operate on Microsoft Windows

Operating Systems:

- A server chipset and BIOS that are Intel I/OAT capable
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or 2 installed
- The Scalable Networking Pack from Microsoft (this is installed as part  of Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2008)
- An adapter or network connection that is Intel I/OAT-capable
- The RSS advanced setting must be enabled
 - Under TCP/IP Offloading Options, both Offload Receive IP Checksum and Offload Receive TCP Checksum must be enabled.

Installation
After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (D20073-001-001.exe), files self-extract and copy into the C:\Cabs\D20073-001-001 folder on the hard drive.
1.  From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\Cabs\D20073-001-001\Setup.exe, and then press ENTER.
2.  In the User Account Control dialog box, click Allow.
3.  Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
