Registry Toolkit performs search &/or replacement operations on the Windows 95/98/ME NT/2000/XP registry. You can search/replace in registry data, values, keys (or any combination) and specify the types of data to process. A browse function lets you can scroll through the registry to select a starting point for your search/replace. You can create and edit keys, values, & data, delete keys & values (after confirmation), and undo the last changes made. Output functions let you preview the changes that would be made by a replace in advance of actually making the replace. Replace preview can also be set up to let you interactively select specific replaces to be made in advance of the operation. This same possible is available for the undo function - you can reverse all or some of the last change made. Regular expression search/replace using a grep-like syntax is possible - no other utility does this. The program can also use DOS environment variables in search/replaces. You can import and export .reg files. The import function has a registry comparison preview that shows existing vs. new data. You can adjust what is displayed in the preview and eliminate some items from the operation before merging the data. A unique 'Operations' function can be used to copy, move, export (or delete) selected values to another location in the registry or a .reg file. Script & command line functions are available for automated &/or complex operations. Registry Toolkit will operate on a remote registry (if you have permission to do so). Active@ Hard Disk Monitor is a disk utility that checks and monitors the status of your hard drives to help prevent data loss. The system is based on the Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.). This software monitors hard disk parameters such as Temperature, Head Flying Height and Spin-Up Time and notifies a user when a critical condition occurs. Disk Monitor also displays hard disk information, current S.M.A.R.T. attributes and the overall status of the hard disk's health. Advanced disk scan allows you to detect bad sectors on a disk surface. The software can be launched automatically at Windows startup and monitor the system in the background. An icon in the System Tray can display the temperature for selected HDDs.

What is Stickies?

Stickies is a PC utility I wrote to try to cut down on the number of yellow notes I was leaving stuck to my monitor. It is a computerised version of those notes.

The design goal behind Stickies is that the program is small and simple. Stickies will not mess with your system files, or write to the registry. Stickies stores information in a single text-based ini file.

Stickies will never support animated dancing figures, or play 'Greensleeves'. They are instead yellow rectangular windows onto which you can put some text notes. Once created, they will stay on screen until you take them away. Just like a real sticky piece of paper.

Main features:

• Once on screen, stickies will remain where placed until closed, even through reboots
• Stickies appearance can be customised; fonts, colours and buttons may be changed, and styles saved. Stickies can be resized.
• Stickies can store text or images
• Stickies can snap to each other and to the sides of the screen to keep them neatly lined up
• Stickies can be attached to a web site, document or folder so they only show when its on screen
• Stickies can be transferred from one machine to another either over a TCP/IP network connection, or by using an SMTP mail server or MAPI client:
  • Hierarchical friends list, which may be automatically transferred from other friends
  • Play a sound file on receive
  • Signature for transmitted or emailed stickies
  • Favourite friends, and custom lists can be made
• Stickies can be hidden for a certain period, until a specified date and time, or to wake every day, week or month, to act as reminders.
• Stickies can have alarms set to ensure you notice them at a point you choose
• Stickies can be transferred to and from your Palm or PPC PDA.

Spyware Process Detector is an anti-spyware tool that will detect all processes running on the computer and display their threat rating based on the intelligent analysis of all hidden properties. Another specialty of the program is its ability to detect a process that contains and executes alien code of another process. Users will at a glance see the detailed information about any selected process and detect all hidden threats, including spyware, malware, keyloggers and Trojans. 17 methods of process detection are available.
