Universal Viewer (ATViewer) is an advanced file viewer with wide range of formats supported. Implemented view modes and corresponding file formats are:
- Text/Binary/Hex/Unicode: all files, with unlimited file size (even 4Gb+ sizes are allowed);
- RTF/UTF-8: RTF and UTF-8 encoded texts;
- Image: all general graphics formats: BMP JPG GIF PNG TGA TIFF etc;
- Multimedia: all formats supported by MS Window Media Player: AVI MPG WMV MP3 MIDI etc;
- Internet: all formats supported by MS Internet Explorer: HTML XML DOC XLS etc;
- Plugins: all formats supported by Total Commander Lister plugins.
The Viewer is fully Unicode compatible and can be integrated into Windows Explorers context menu, so there is no problem to call it from anywhere in Explorer: right-click on a file and select 'Universal Viewer' item. It can also be integrated into file managers that can pass to Viewer filenames via the command-line: in this case filename should be passed as first optional command parameter (dont forget to double-quote name containing spaces).
License: The main application is freeware. The add-on 'Navigation Panel' is shareware (requires registration).

What is eMule?At dawn of May 13th 2002 a guy called Merkur was dissatisfied with the original eDonkey2000 client and was convinced he could do better. So he did. He gathered other developers around him, and eMule Project was born. Their aim was to put the client back on track where eDonkey had been famous before, adding tons of new features and a nice GUI. They couldnt imagine what impact this decision would have...
As of today, eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world. Thanks to its open source policy many developers are able to contribute to the project, making the network more efficient with each release.
What does eMule mean?The name eMule comes from an animal called Mule which is somehow similar to a donkey ;)
How often is eMule updated?eMule is not updated regularly, but at the moment the frequencies are between 1 and 3 months. Dont take this for guaranteed. :)

Universal Extractor is a program do to exactly what it says: extract files from any type of archive, whether its a simple zip file, an installation program, or even a Windows Installer (.msi) package. This is still a work in progress (see details below), but so far its proven quite useful and I feel others can also benefit from it.
I should stress that this application is not intended to be a general purpose archiving program. It will never replace WinRAR, 7-Zip, etc. What it will do is allow you to extract files from virtually any type of archive, regardless of source, compression method, etc. The original motivation behind this project was that I wanted an easy, convenient way to extract files from installation packages, such as Inno Setup or Windows Installer packages, without pulling up a command line every time. In the process I got a little carried away and ended up throwing in support for every kind of archive format I possibly could find.
Universal Extractor, like most of my Windows programs, is written in AutoIt, a powerful open source scripting language. Universal Extractor itself, however, is just a front-end that uses many other programs to do the dirty work. Please see the Credits section below for additional information.
