The Ask.com Toolbar is a great way to save you time when searching on the Web. The application will install itself onto your Web Browser and provide you with tools that will help make your searches more efficient. Ask Toolbar works with both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. There are different versions for each browser, though. Aside from providing you with a main Search field that searches on the Ask.com Portal, you are also given several links that you can use to access news, the weather, shopping sites and more. Actually, the possibilities are quite endless, since you can personalize the bar with your own links. The first time you open the browser after installing the bar, you will notice it below the address bar. You can easily spot the Search field and the links I just mentioned. You can even save your searches and favorite web sites from the bar, so that you don't have to do it with your browser. If you are a regular user of Ask.com, this toolbar will definitely save you time. This version is exclusively released for Internet Explorer and will not work in any other browser.

KeePass is a free, open source, light-weight and easy-to-use password manager for Windows and mobile devices. You can store your passwords in highly-encrypted databases, which can only be unlocked with one master password and/or a key file. A database consists of only one file that can be transferred from one computer to another easily. The program supports password groups, in which you can sort your passwords into. You can drag-n-drop passwords into almost any other window. The auto-type feature types your login information into other windows automatically (just press a hot key). Fast copying passwords or user names to the Windows clipboard is possible by just double-clicking on the specific field in the password list. KeePass can import data from various formats like CSV, CodeWallet TXT and CounterPanes PwSafe. The password list can be exported to various formats (including TXT, HTML, XML and CSV files). The password list can of course also be printed (complete database or only current view). Searching and sorting the password database is possible. KeePass ships with a strong random password generator (you can define the possible output characters, length). The program can be translated into other languages very easily (over 34 languages are available). It has a plug-in framework; many plug-ins provide additional functionality like backup features, network features; they are available from the KeePass website.
